    need some carb help. please!

    guys,

i have a 1980 GS 750, straight pipes and pos filters. I have rebuilt the carbs and had teh bike running, idle, rev return idle no issues with 112.5 mains and the needle in stock position. Mixture screws are at 2.5 turns out.

I just pulled the carb off moved the needle up to the last postion (raised needle) and installed 130 main jets. Now the bike won't start, if I put my hand over teh throttle body on carbs 2 and 3 I get fuel in teh throttle body carbs 1 and 4 don't do this, the bike will run a little bit but I think that is just the fuel being pulled in from the carbs i had put my hand over, also If i put a gas soaked rag on te back of the throttle boby it's run till the fuel runs out.

there is fuel in the bowls. I know I am missing something easy or simple. I tried turning out the mixture screws, still nothing.

    Yeah

Go back to the 112.5 jets

Why did you change them to 130s, that's a huge leap. If you're lean, may be go 120

Put the pods back on, the carbs need the vacuum to flow gas

i got the 130's and 122's as I wasn't sure which one would work. I'll try the 122's and put the pods on (that was likely the issue). thanks!
