Sprockets

It's that time again, time to buy the chain and sprockets. I would like to go up on both the front and back, stock is a 14/45, and I would like to go to a 15/50. The final ratio ends up being slightly lower, but my goal is to be able to change the front sprocket to a 14 for drag racing. Question is this, has anybody done this, I'm concerned about clearance, but I'm not sure how to check it, until I buy all the parts. Thanks!

Clearance would not be an issue with that small an increase in tooth count, Go for it .

I'm going to convert to a 520 setup soon. I'm looking at 16/44 on the gearing since the tire I'm running is smaller in diameter than stock. Right now I'm at 14/42 and the bike is pretty rev happy so 16/44 won't be a problem, neither will clearance.
