How often do you adjust the valves (16v), and how tight do you adjust them ??

Is any old guage good to use?
I have used the spark knife type guage to measure the spark plug gap. Is that type fine for checking the valve shims? Or do I need to get a longer type that is bent at the ends?Comment

Jake, nice bike. Second adjustment within 12 years ? How many kilometers/miles have you run then ?
