    Thanks Keith. I think you are probably right on here, everything you said makes sense. I have ordered some basic synch' sticks from Dennis Kirk, they should be in tomorrow. The RPM's were only slow to return before I set the mixture screws out 5 turns. Of course by the time I did that the engine probably got up to operating temp, thus changing the way the mix burns. I'm gonna pull the carbs tonight and manually re-synch', then vacumn synch' tomorrow when I throw the rack back in. I don't think I'll have any problem or questions with the synch', I think I have the concept down. I'll let you know how it goes!

        I use a plastic gas tank off of an old lawnmower. It has the nipple on it for the hose, made to hold gasoline and works great.
