The Vesrah brake pad stock numbers for your bike are:
front...VD324JL rear VD306JL Both of these are sintered metal pads. SOooooooo then, I guess the answer is YES! :-) :-) :-)

Rick, Vesrah numbers for a 78 750 E are front VD318 and rear
VD306JL. The "J" designations denote sintered metal pads, lack of a "J" denotes an organic pad. So, according to Vesrah, your bike takes a sintered metal pad on the rear, but not on the front.
