I have a 1980 110OET and am trying to replace my regulator / rectafire. I have a friend that has a 1982 1100 and was wondering if the reg / rec and compatable.

I thought a "rectafire" was a situation whereby the expelled methane gas ignites suddenly.

Get a new one. I have a used one that is doing fine, but wish I had a new one. These GS R/R's are crud. Electrix, and Den Kirk have them.
