In the process of getting my bike ready for the road, the oil pressure light stopped working. I found the G/y wire from the pressure sending unit to the bullet splice on the left side by the fuse box, had opened up. I had to run a piece of flex tubing and new wire. Its working fine now, it just increases the comfort zone.

After reading the link Swanny, it's the filter. And I always keep extra oil in the tank bag. That light was usually my first indicator for an oil change. It wasn't until recently that I noticed it right after an oil change. It could be doing it a lot more than that, but my hours at work change from days to nights. It's a lot easier to notice a red flicker in the dark. And thanks for the replies.[/quote]
