"Shed" Bike w/ stuck throttle slides

Old 1977 550 sat in shed for 9 years. I'm trying to disassemble the carbs but the throttle slides are stuck in the carbs. Any suggestions ???

Most garages have a bucket of carb cleaner you can put the carbs in and let them soak over night, or longer. It really works well. If you get the slides out without it, the carbs could use a good soaking in it anyway. After 9 years, they're going to need all the help you can give them.

90 degree needle nose pliers will get those slides unstuck, but id soak em first.
