77 GS550 Master Cylinder Question

Does any one know where I might be able to find a master cylinder for a 1977 GS550? Or a rebuild kit? I have been having some trouble locating one. Thanks

Have you tried ebay? There is a front master cylinder for a '77GS750 on there at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1842531878. I haven't searched for the 550, but you may find one if you look. I just got a rebuild kit for my '77GS750 from the local Suzuki dealer. He had to order it, cost $28, and took a couple of days to come it, but I got it. Good luck.

rebuild kit..

I'm having the same trouble finding a kit for my 1979 GS850G. Will be calling the Suzuki dealer (75 miles away) Tomorrow. Hope that they can get me one. Would not blink a eye at a $30. kit.
If that don't work I will be going to the bone yard and get one off a bike that will fit.

I tried my local dealer and they said they couldn't get anything for me. Maybe I should try another dealer. Thanks for the help
