Need tire size

I've got a Bridgestone 3.60 S19 4PR front tire that needs replaced. I've checked around, but can't find a conversion chart. Can anyone tell me what the metric tire size is? :? A local dealer has a Dunlop 190-19 available, but he's not sure if it's going to fit right. I really don't want to have my bike sitting in a shop waiting for some backordered tire after I've just got it running.

My '81 GS450 had a 90/90/19" front tire.

I just figured it out, the dealer said he had ONE 90/19 dunlop in stock, not a 190/19 #-o That would explain my confusion. Thanks Robinjo, that's what I need.

I think a 3.25/3.50/3.60 is 100/90H/19 90/19 is like a 3.00/19 smaller than what you have

The old sizing of 3.60 is inches. Metric being 25.4 mm per inch converts to
metric 90 x 90 x19 or you probably would be better off with a size wider which would be 100 x 90 x 19. The 1st number is width in mm, 2nd number is cross section height as a % of width, 3rd number is rim diameter in inches.

Howdy, I put new tires on my '81 450L this fall. The front tire I put on is a 100/90 X 19. It is a Kenda and seems to work fine. It is slightly larger in diameter than the original, but that is no real problem. Good luck. Dave J
