carbs diaphragm for a 650 katana

    Hi to everyone.

I have two carb diaphragms with small holes on it, what produces that the engine runs in two cilinders when I ride at 4000 or 5000 RPM.
How I can solve that problem?

    Cheers

If the holes are small you could probably use a very small dab of silicon sealer to get you by. If the diaphrams are completely gone You may be able to get some from or have them repaired at. http:www.motorcyclecarbs .com

      Hello
There is an easy way to fix your diaphram without going into great expence and trouble. Go to your local automotive store and and purchase liquid electical tape. it is used in the auto industry to seal electrical repairs. Make sure you mix it well and apply the liquid tape with a wooden toothpic as the brush that comes with it is to large and messy.
      Good luck, Archie

new diaphgrams cost like hell, so it's a lot cheaper to buy complete used carbs from ebay or local salvage yard and take the parts from there. or replace the whole carbs.
