    G3 or G4 Cams

I'm looking at these cams for my GS1100E. Will these cams require any special parts to work. I think the base circle may be different from the OEM cams but the OEM rockers and adjustment screws should work-- right??

Both work fine. The G3 is very popular for street riding and some like the G4 for strips. Get your sprockets machined for adjustability and maybe you need to replace the adj.screws to longer ones for the reduced base circle. A heavier chain maybe in order and a manual tensioner, easy to rebuild yor own. Go to www.biker66.com and choose "my mods" in the menu on the left.
Since you?re going for high comp. and wild cams I strongly recommend a crank-job and a HD camchain.

the g-4 cams are what i run, they give up some low end but come on strong at the top end. I have gone 134 mph(in 1/4) and 107mph in the 1/8 on pump gas and 750 rider bike combo, stock chassie and tire.( no wheelie bars) I had them degreed at 110 lobe center. Ive had them for over ten years and love them.

          Hi Skip

I've found some very good low useage G4 cams that I'm getting. Do you have a ET on your 1/8 run.

          Thanks
