Keith: In Haps post about the A.P.E. Nut somebody gives very good details on how to make the holder out of raw stock. Instead of welding it to a steel plate you would just have the two ends go into the rotor. Your hand squeezing on the handle of the homemade contraption would keep the pegs in the holes.

A steering wheel puller is identical to a balancer puller. If you use it to remove your rotor, you can put a wrench in between the bolts to gain leverage to remove the crank nut. I used a strike wrench and hit it good and hard with a hammer, the nut came loose in one hit. put the bike in gear and have somebody step on the back brake. You shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for all the replies! Also, in case someone reads this and is also looking for a puller, I double checked the part numbers and Joe's '83 1100 DOES NOT use the same puller as my '79 1000, at least according to Suzuki. The Suzuki part number for mine is 09930-34910 and the holder is 09930-44910.And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

Hi. According to the seller, it won't fit my '79. I did find one for about $45 at Dennis Kirk. I got even luckier and will get to borrow the puller when I need it. Thanks for thinking about me though. And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
