gs650E gaskets same for gs650G?

are the topend gaskkets the same for the 81-82 gs650E and the 81-83 gs650G?...please tell me they are because i might have carelesly bid on an item on ebay

Hi:

I have a 650 Kat and made by myself the valve cover gasket drawing in a gasket paper the contour of a 650E.
When I decided to installed it in my kat I get angry, because I notice that the Kat has a hole very near the exaust cam shaft gear , at the left side were is conect the odometer; and the 650 E has not in the same place. :x

hmm, well mine is not a katana, just the 650g model...thanks though, ill look out for it

go to bike bandit and pull up the micro fiche of the two modles and compare the valvue covers of the 2.
