    Justin.......where are you now with the coil replacement and voltages?
    What are you getting for input volts to both coil primary terminals compared to what your battery voltage is?

              Knew it had to be a break in the circuit somewhere. Internal breaks in wires are hard to track down, usually only found after testing every wire! I have had pin connectors burnt out and with pins pushed back in...electrics can be frustrating!

                hey hoomgar;

                Congrats!!! Ride man ride, put some serious mileage on that puppy.
                Just don't forget to go back home, otherwise you'd probably land up in atlantic city or someplace like that and your wife would ground you. 8O

                  I was up until 2:00 AM last night putting it all back together and adjusting it. I took the lame bars off of it that come with those bikes and put a pair of GS1000 bars on it that I bought off ebay two weeks ago for just that purpose I also put a cheap Emgo quarter fairing on it and tightened the loose triple tree assembly. It looks and feels way better with the new bars on it and it runs better now because it has a GS part on it

                  I am finishing these posts and my coffee and then it is off to the roads!

                  Thanks again to everyone who helped me trouble shoot this.
