I don't know the answer to your question, but I would guess them to be the same, as Suzuki changed electrical items in 1982, and again in 1984.
If the old one is still available, then just compare them side by side. and check the contacts with a meter.
You need to do this because they may look identical on the outside, but the internal contacts are different .
If everything matches, GO!
If not, you can pull the upper and lower parts of the boxes apart and switch the contacts inside from one to the other, after cleaning them up.
I had to do that on my GKE, as I could not find an exact match. The box melted around one of the fuses due to the overheating caused by dirty contacts.Bertrand Russell: 'Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education.'
