    1977 GS750 Fuel consumption Q

have just bought a GS 750 (1977 model) after owning Hondas all my life.

Ive got to take her on a 2 day trip to the other end of Oz in 3 weeks (1700 from my place each way) so Im trying to find out what is average fuel consumption is,

if anyone can help please I would really appreciate it!

also preferably in litres per 100 Km rating or UK miles per gallon please!

    regards,
    Andrew!
    Thank god summer's ended (44+ C days!(

My 79 GS 750E gets 43 mpg U.S. That would be 5.47 liters per 100 kilometers.

        My GS850G & GS1100GK both get between 40-45mpg.

OOh, well mine seems to be doing really well then!!!

I recently travelled 160Km on it and it took 6.49 litres to fill it (that is 22.85Km / litre) and equates roughly to 53mpg (uk)

so Im more than very happy with its consumption then!

          regards,
          Andrew

thats the great thing about the 750 size, its good for fuel mileage and good for power, very nice compromise. those with the 650cc motors I believe get better fuel mileage and those with the 1100cc motors have all the power
