    finding neutral

Hello everyone, as the weather got wormer, I rode my gs750e, what I noticed that as the engine gets wormer I have harder time to find the netral, after short brake when the engine is cold it gets to be easy.
any medicine for this? Thank you very much

Get into neutral when you're still rolling. If you're oil is old it'll make it hard to find neutral too.

      Re: finding neutral

My 750 doesnt like to find neutral from 1st. The easiest way is to bump back to 2nd and then a light tap and it will drop into neutral easy as you please.

It could also be that the clutch is draging

Yessir, that too, or too high an idle can make neutral indent difficult.

I had a hard time finding neutral back when I was actually able to ride my pos bike too.

This worked every time for me,in first gear stop the bike with the clutch fully engaged, gently pull up on the shifter with your foot while you rock the bike forward or backwards, or both.

I learned that from an 8 year old, felt real dumb.

Give it a shot, lemme know how/if it works

My gse is similar, I have to go up to 2 then back to neutral most of the time. I can do it if I really gently go up from first to neutral. Otherwise I just pop it up to 2 then into N. 8)

Me too. Best to change from 2nd into neutral just before coming to a stop. Otherwise have to fiddle with the shift looking like a novice and feeling like a wally.

Great tip. It really works. I was going mad swiching betwenn first and second gear for several minutes before neutral finally jumped in.
