    fuel gauge stuck

I recently used POR-15 gas tak sealer to fix a rust problem in my
GS850 fuel tank.. the rust problem is solved but now my fuel gauge is stuck on empty..

    Can this be fixed?

    Thanks,

    Stuck!!

That's too bad but it's probably not going to be too hard to fix. I think you should drain your gas, take off your tank and loosen the bolts on the sending unit. If you jiggle it around slightly, I'll bet it will free it...if not, you may have to carefully remove it and reinstall it. Good luck.

            OOOOOPS!

OOOOOOPS! I forgot to mention the most likely problem ....be sure that your connection is good between the sending unit and the wiring harness...maybe, just maybe, when you put your tank back on, you didn't get a good connection,
