We all know how hard it is to fine MINT condition wiring harnesses...but I was just thinking: How difficult would it be to MAKE one? Anyone ever tackled this before?

I've done it.
Not very difficult, but you have to pay attention to what you are doing
The first thing I did was to create a simpler (more readable) version of the wiring diagram.
I chose to use new, non original connectors, meaning I had to resolder everything. On the other side it's nice to know everything is new and not rotted out :roll:
Then just build up your courage to rip out the old harness, there's a lot of connections to remember...
My drawing is found on my site under 'modifications/wiring', there's also a few pictures from the construction of the harness under 'my bike/2000'. -
