    Jugs

I'm trying to remove the jugs on my 77 GS750 parts bike. Is there a trick to this? I have the head off, but the jugs seem pretty well glued on. Brute force?

You'll need a rubber mallet or the rubber end of a plastic mallet. Don't hit on the fins either downward or upward with it as you could break them off. Hit them perpendicular and not really hard. It would be better to whang it around the cam chain tunnel and that should free it just enough to start wiggling it off.

You can also try the old 'hot towel/cold towel' trick. Wrap a warm towel around the cylinder base to expand, and put cold towels around the block. The expansion difference will sometimes help loosen things up before you start whackin' away at them.
BTW, your topic title 'Jugs' tricked me into reading this topic! I thought you were talking about the good kind of jugs!

          Jugs are good.

Oh, this is a bike thread.
          My bad...
