how many links?
hey just wanted to know to make sure, i'm on a GS1100e and the chain is streched to the limits. when i counted off the number of links on it i came up with 90. Just wanted to make sure that this is the right number, BTW 15T front, 42T rear, 630 chain.
thanks for the help.Tags: None

FYI - Should you decide to convert to a 530 it'll be 110 links. Just did this with one.

Really? I kept hearing 110 links. Have you got part #s for the sprockets you bought such that no machining is required?

You will need a washer as a spacer on the inside of the front sprocket. The newer ones (the one I got is listed for a an 1100 GSXR) do not have the boss on the inside edge.
If you need measurements let me know. I know the inside diameter is just shy of an inch, like .995. And the outside I'd have to check.
I got lucky, before my brother left a job he had one made for me out of stainless.
The rear sprocket, again for the GSXR bolted up with no changes needed.
Denniskirk numbers are 80-068-16 for the front and 80-035-42S for the rear. Chain was 11-9950-110. I changed the gearing a bit as you can see, but the 110 links worked perfectly.
