    front springs

    i drove my 83 650 katana a bit for testing to a 20mph
while braking,my front went totally in the fork, what can i do about it myself? probably it is an hydrolic fork, and putting new hydrolic compression on it will be a bit difficult i guess..

What you need are new fork springs and a fork oil change. Neither of these is very expensive or too hard to do. In fact I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing on my 1100 real soon. Find a repair manual for your bike too if you don't already have one.

If ya cant spring for new springs, you can pre load the ones you have "firming" up the front suspension... Will give a harsher ride, but can be done cheap.
