I decided to rewind my fried stator, but I need some info.

Hello GSR Brothers.

I?ll rewind (by myself) my fried stator next weekend, but I need some information.
Maybe those who have rewound the stators (by themself) can help me.

#1--I discovered that my stator has been rebuilt, but I suspect that it hasn?t the same turns by core, because I compared it with other stator (that has also been rebuilt) and I noticed more volume of wire on each core than in mine.
So, how many turns per core is correct?

#2--What does the # of turns per core affect?

#3--What does the # of gauge?s wire affect?

#2, The number of turns per core, affects the magnetic field the stator produces. More turns per coil may mean more voltage.

#3, the gauge of the wire, may just mean how many winds you can fit on each core.

Because I think of the extreme, something like two gauge wire, one wind per core... wouldn't work very well. If you are remotely close to the number of winds and the gauge of the wire it will probably work, although there might be some difference in the stator's performance (more or less). It is just harnessing a natural force.
