I can't help you with the quantity or weight, spring for the Clymer manual. But, for the oil, I use Mobil 1 motor oil. I've heard all the yada yada about real fork oil and suspension fluid and used to use Bel-Ray fork oil, but, I can't tell the difference between fork oil and motor oil. So I use the cheap stuff and change it every year. I used ATF in an old Honda's fork, that's what the manual called for.

A clymer manual would be great but they didn't put out any publications for the GSX1100G models from 1991-1994.

I had 15W put in when they did my seals and Progressive springs. I don't know what made the most diff.
Different weight oil, new seals, or new springs. 8O 8) :twisted:Doug aka crag antler

Found this link: http://www.partspartners.com/html/gsx1100.html
It says 406cc's for your bike (91 GSX1100G = yearcode M).
