1/4 Turn throttle
How can I get my 79 GS 750 to have a 1/4 turn throttle? Do i just need a new throttle twist thing? or is there more to it?Tags: None

you replace the twist grip part, which usually is just the twistgrip, no switches, so you must retain that part and slide it in farther on the handlebar...this might make your right mirror only suitable for grooming your right arm and shoulder....

Never do it , you can glue some extra material to increase the diameter
of the throttle tube guide. You may run into problems with cable fit with the push pull cables too!

Yeap I used some pvc pipe and glue it inside the throttle assy and works like a charm. I posted it in the tips and tricks months ago or was that last year??1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

That might be best if you don't want to fool around trying to mod your own. Don't know how much a new throttle would cost---- 20-30 bucks maybe??1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88
