Proper float height for 82 GS450

Hello everyone,

I don't have my manual handy, and I'm trying to set the float height for an 82 GS450. I couldn't find anything with a quick search of the board.

Float height:
ED, LD, TXD, LF : 23.0 +/- 1.0mm (0.89 +/- 0.04 in)
Other models : 22.4 +/- 1.0mm (0.88 +/- 0.04 in)

its a TXZ.... an 82.

I know the 83 models have different carbs that 82 and older, so I'm not sure if the heights you mentioned will be the same for mine.

They only have those listings for the 450's in the Haynes manual. You might get a second opinion from someone with a Clymers manual.

My Clymer Manual lists: 21.4mm - 23.4mm for GS450 models.
