    engine revs while backing up

weird problem, while im backing up my engine will rev up to 2-3k rpm i am not pulling the throttle on my handle bar. I am not sure if it only happens when backing down on a uphill slope.

Best guess is when backing up, you are turning the handlebars slightly, which is pulling the throttle cable. try adjusting your throttle cable with more slack, or rerouting your throttle cable.

I second the motion for throttle cable tweaking.

Or - You are using the handbrake, and making the forks extend all the way, again, pulling on the throttle cable.

I had the same issue and adjusted the cable. No longer an issue.
