Last Nights discovery,
Well I took Dink's advice and pulled the breather cover, Had the exuast pipes off for cleaning. Filled the Carbs with Gas and let her fly. Thats odd the left cylinder smokes blue and has some sort of oil spray on the ehuast seat. The right cylinder is just plain old carbon. Hmm I think I found the problemed cylinder. What do you guys think. Sounds like a head gasket now that it is burning oil. That would be logical on a car but those are water cooled. I don't know alot about these oil cooled engines but I want to learn. Would you all recomend doing the 25 year old rings and cheking the cylinder walls while I am down far enough to do the head gaskets?
BTW Dink it did rev higher up to 4 grand this time. Thanks for the idea.
