    Affordable gasket kit

I am having a lot of oil seepage from the head gasket and the gasket where the head attaches to the engine block. Does anyone now where I can get an affordable gasket kit that does not come from www. oldbikebarn.com? The one that old bike barn is selling is an athena gasket kit, anyone know anything about it? Thanks

        Thanks

I got the set ordered and hopefully that will stop the seepage problems.

I used a gasket kit from Old Bike Barn recently and it seems fine, no leaks and I have about 500kms so far on the bike. Hopefully, it will be fine.

You ordered something from Old Bike Barn and actually got it?

Word around here is that OBB doesn't play nice -- check the deadbeats forum.

Glad you got your stuff, though.

The Athena gaskets are OK, but I think Vesrah is a bit better. I've had no problems with either.

Yeah I know, but got in a situation a few weeks ago where everyone I called had a three - four week wait on the kit and I was in a rush to get the bike together. So, I ordered on Mastercard knowing I could file a complaint if it didn't arrive, however I got exactly what I ordered, witha UPS tracking number so I could track the package. I know I took a chance, but it did work out. Don't take my words as any endorsement, however. I know what it is like to get taken....Try Speedmoto Company...pain the the behind and never sent the parts, now ignoring me.
