I purchased a gauge cluster that was said to be from a 83 SUZUKI GS550ED GAUGES GS. I have and 83GS550ESD and it has electronic tach and mechanical speedo, the one I bought has both mechanical. Would they have come with more than one style in that year, or did the seller have the year wrong?

then you got a cluster from a 1100 not a 550.
from what I know (not much!) all the 550's and 750's from 83 on had electronic tachs and don't even have a place for a mechanical tach cable. -
