83 1100E missing

this happend from time to time but havent located the problem, after getting to running temp it will start to miss on the inner right piston (when sitting on the bike) the miss will go away under hard power or just high rpms. i know its missing on that piston because the pipe is cooler then the rest when its happening. any ideas? thanks.

Loosing spark somewhere probably.....are plug wires up to snuff? Check the plug itself recently?

the plugs are fairly new, i cut the wire back on that wire and rescrewed the spark plug cap. maybe its the plug cap itself? could this be a carb problem?

yes it can be carb related and probably is.
the pilot jets are the first to clog due to the smaller size of the jets and passages.
