    looking for year GS 750 found these numbers on frame GS 750- 31501 engine case numbers are GS 750- 40408 has spoked wheels front and back disc brakes has no letters on side covers don't think they go with bike duel exhaust don't know if tank is right one but its been painted black can see red where its been scratched black plastic rear fender chrome front fender also the fork bracket is chrome someone mentioned this as a point to check . Hope this helps some!

    Congratulations, everything you've told me means that you're the proud owner of a 1977 GS750B. Now where can I find a blue one.

      The production data is not on the left side steering column at the front of the gas tank? if the plaque is not there dont touch, youll burn your fingers

        Not necessarily. When I painted my frame I covered the sticker over with tape. When I removed the tape, half the sticker came with it! 8O In other words, they can be removed very easily. Besides, the serial # is STAMPED in the frame, so the other stuff really doesn't matter. You have paperwork

          No paperwork !! I'm working on it my son got it from a person who owed him a storage fee he gave it to me guess he didnt want the headache .
