    Swinging arm torque GS550

    Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what the torque is for the swinging arm nut on my 1981 GS550-EX? Nm or Lb/Ft will be fine.

    Thanks,
    Hooligan

Keep turning untill you strip the threads and then a quarter turn back???

JUST KIDDING, DON'T DO IT!!! I'm sure someone will have the correct torque required.

No but I've been to the site in the past for information, I got mine like I want it now with the Dyno-jet kit, the K&N and the Laser exhaust it spunds great and puts out 75 hp at the backwheel.
Only things I want now are braided steel brake lines and an Ohlins shock at the back.

By the way do you mean a '93 TDM or do you have a very early prototype or something

                Yep, '93!

On the forum at Carpe, there're a lot of posts at the moment about Ohlins versus Founalis gas shox.
