    GS1000G--GS550

Can anyone answer this question me???????
I have a 1981 GS1000G and need a replacement speedo that reads 140 (not 85) I can get one (whole instrument cluster) from a GS550 that looks extremely close (only seen PICS) WILL THESE CLOCKS FIT?????????
And if they do!! will the speedo be accurate from my front wheel drive?

          Hi

You should check the diameter of the clocks..
To my GS1000 GL I bought some from a Canadian 750L.
Those clocks was bigger in diameter.,Had to do some mods on the brackets.Liked them anyway (had gas guage in the rev counter)therefore I made my original gasguage to be a oiltemp guage.(just made a differet scale.Black<60degree C, and then Green and then Red >120 degree C.

          Take care

            Clocks.

All I want out of it is the speedo clock, as mine only goes upto 85! I bid on one on ebay, but it went for stupid money.
I have asked a guy selling a set of 550 clocks if they will fit mine, but he has not answered me!!!!

              The updated numbers are the same for a GS1000G and a GS550 (Part# 34110-45132).
              See http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm .
              So it will fit!
