Will thease carbs work on my 79 GS850G?

I have a 1979 GS850G. I found these on ebay dose anyone know if they will work?
they say they are off of a 79 GS850 but visualy they are compleatly diferent than mine. Mine have the piston with the needle in them not these butterfly things that these carbs have.

Those carbs are from a 1980 or newer bike. They won't fit because of the way they attach to the cylinders.

Also the cylinder head and ports are different.those carbs wont fit your buke with out changing the cylinder head.

Yep, those carbs are off a later version of the bike. The earlier GSs had smaller slide carbs, which work quite ok, but then they changed to CV carbs. The intake boots and head are different. While they refer to a 1979 bike, it was probably built in 79 as an 80 model (still common practice today).

I would stick with the slide carbs as they tend to have less problems as they age. The slide carb 850 does its job really well.
