eBay is a good place to look for starter motors. I have bought two or three. You can usually find good prices this time of year. The Suzuki GS starters seem to cross for a lot of models so don't limit your search to just your bike, but do check to make sure they cross before bidding.

What was "not good" about the starter? They can get pretty filthy.
A lot of times you just need to clean them off or maybe lightly sand the commutator and replace the brushes. VERY EASY to do if that's all it is.And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
