What shall the horsepower be on a GS1000 G version at the rear wheel? Standard MC.

    Anyone taken a Dyno test???

I did not, as my MC was not standard when I bought it.
Shall take a test in spring when my MC is running again....

If I remember my old magazine articles, the 1000G in its prime was in the 70 ponies area, Kind of amazing when the new 600 fours today are in the 100plus range

ok, the middle of march we will be having our spring ride in the hill country and we will be stopping by the lone star motorcycle museum and they have a dyno.
if we have time and the owner is there I will put mine on the dyno to see what she makes.
but mine is not exactly stock so the numbers wont be correct.
