Sure looks like you're in business now. :-) :-) What vacuum level do you tune your copier to? Mine doesnt accelerate the paper smoothly and I'm thinking it may be a throttle problem. :-) :-)

If you look closely, there's a bottle of Capt. Morgans next to the copier that I add a shot to the toner cartridge to raise the octane.

OK,
Since I'm almost to this part of my restoration project, and I have my vaccum set up ready. Where would I obtain, or what do I use for adapters at the intake manifold test holes? Is there a cheapo adapter out there? Just looking for a quick answer from a carb syncopro before I go on a quest for something that will work.
Thanks,
Chris

Go to cyclerecycle at http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm
Look under tools. Scroll down and you will see a set of four 5mm adapters for $15.95 These fit the manifolds on your bike.

Hi folks,
I've been lurking here for a little while. I'm about to rebuild and synch my carbs. It sounds a little stupid, but where do I hook up the 4 adapters?
Here's the schematic link.
So which number do I play with?

It's actually on the cylinder head. Look on the head where the intake 'boots' from the carbs attach. There is a small allen head cap screw that you remove so you can screw in the adapter. #16 on the cylinder head schematic, but you can't see where it goes from that picture.
There's an article at http://bwringer.com/gs/index.html that has a good description and some pics. It's from a different model and slightly different carb, but the location of the screw is similar. The adjustment screw and lock nut is different - yours are under the top cap.

Thanks!
Does anyone know the dimensions of the O-ring that fits between the boot, and the well, I don't know the names of these things. Maybe I could pick it up at the local hardware store?
What is the dimension of the O-ring that fits on the back of the motor in the carburetor area?
It's over one inch in outer diameter, and under five furlongs inner diameter.
Oh, how I wish there was a manual for idiots like me.
