Kids Lost My GS550 L Keys
My bike has been in the garage all winter with the keys in it. I went out there just now and they are gone. Is there any way i can get keys made for this ? If so is there any numbers on the ignition or could they make one if i take it to a locksmith ? Thanks

A locksmith will be able to make you a key with the lock cylinder. I had it done for my car, it cost me about $70 and he came to me.Currently bikeless

Any good locksmith can make a new key for you, but, you may have to order a new key blank from Suzuki because he may not have it in stock.

When I got a copy for my 450L key at Home Depot, they used a blank doe what looks like a mopar or early 90's ford, large triangular head. He had to do a little manual filing after running it through the machine but now it works just as good as a new one so any decent locksmith ought to have a blank that will work.

Take the title to a locksmith - he'll be able to cut a key from the VIN #.
Why, oh why do I always get a bad vibe from users with a post count of 1 that post on bike forums wondering how to get a "lost" key made??????

In the spots where the key is used there is a 3 digit number any locksmith can make a key from that number. On my gs450s it is on the trunk lock.

If the cost for getting a new key is too great, JCW has replacement ignition switches for fairly cheap.
