    630 chains

just put a new chain on my 1100e have approx 2000 miles on it and ive adjusted it 3 times already is this normal stretch, how many miles does a chain usually last, is it because its a cheap chain. whats up this chain prolly wont last 10k. my last gs was a shafty so this is new to me .

They do stretch quite a bit.

Is it an O-Ring or X-Ring chain? If so, sounds excessive to me. Many people don't have to adjust their chain for many many miles (kilometers).

Did you change the sprockets as well? Or are they in good shape? I keep about 1.6" (inches) of slack in my chain while it's on the center stand.
Clean it every 500 miles and use a good chain lube.

If it's NOT an O-Ring or X-Ring chain, then yes it will probably stretch quickly and NOT last very long.

Does not seem like a performance question. Is this going to be another one of those, "it's a crappy chain" stories and then we find out that the sprockets were left unchanged? I think the last time I asked the guy tells me that they left the front on and changed only the rear. Brand new chain shot.

If you did change all three together, I just changed the one on the GSXR at 16K miles. A normal number for me.

Sounds like too much wear if sprockets were chnaged as well. I have over 20,000kms on a non-oring 630 chain, with few adjustments. An oring should last a long time, but a cheap oring will only last as much as a good non-oring usually, from ones I have used.
