I think if the engine or clutch gets heat soak it will be inconsistent by a tenth or two. Also what size jets are you running.

Jake, I still have the DynoJet 138's in the bike. I bought some 145's, 147.5 and some 150 mains from Mikuni. My bike doesn't have a open pipe so I'm not sure where to start.

If you bike nose's over or feels like you hit a wall before the finish line then it's running out of fuel. I'd try the 145's since you don't have an open exhaust. Those DJ 138's are just to small for the track.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

Don't you just hate that when you break out being so close. Once I broke out with a .0023 I guess that's like 1/4 of an inch.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

Jake, I put in the 145's, I couldn't tell much difference in seat of the pants feel. I'll try to get to the track to see if my mph changes any. Thanks for the advise. Mike J

Just making sure you don't starve your engine at the end of the track. You want it to pull until the valve's float then you know the jetting is right. OK maybe you want to shift before they float but you get my idea 8O
Also maybe pull the plug on your exhaust and see how she runs ??1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

We got rained out again, so I didn't get to see if the jets helped. Probably will be two weeks before I can get back to test, bummer. Mike J

Out making my license runs this week. 4 1/8 mile and 2 full passes. New personal best 9.73 @ 133. 3100 feet DA. This thing should fly in the fall.
I also found a problem with the air valve on my air clutch. It was causing the clutch to come out really slow. No wonder I can't cut a light. We'll see what happens saturday.

Was playing with the old GS on Friday and a guy on a snowmobile next to me that went through the traps at 150MPH. I thought that was really something, until Saturday when one ran the 1/4 in 7 something. It was a new track record, but he could not back it up.

I assume your question was real being from Florida. You are right, they are made for the snow but they run them in the bike class on the same asphalt track. They remove the skies, track and sliders. They use something like in-line skates in the front. The track is sort of like a slick. No real tread. The sliders are then all rollers. They normally have a cooler and small pump to drain the water from the block at cool the engine between runs.
The sled that made the 7 second charge was a four stroke with a turbo charger. Sorry, no pictures this time.
