There's a 3 part sealer called Kreem, which can be purchased at about any bike shop which can be applied for de-rusting and sealing the tank. If you follow the directions to a tee, it works excellent. If you rush the job and or don't follow the directions it will eventually peal off cuasing you more grief. If your careful you don't need to repaint the tank. The best part is that it cost's under $40.00.

I used the POR15, I liked it, very hard coating!
My tank was turning in to a sieve , all good now.
