which dyna coils should I use on my 1980 gs1100 e

Does any one have any idea what coil setup I should use for a 1980 gs1100 e, for street use? Also do these wire up the same way as the stock coils ?

I have Dyna DC1-1 coils on my 1983 GS1100E. All other ignition components are stock. The wiring is identical to the original coils. Basically you can use any coils if they have 3-5 Ohms primary resistance.

Yes, the Dyna DC1-1 are 3 ohm coils and are direct replacements for the GS. They are green coils.
