Got the Dyna 2.2 coils on

Got them on today and she fired right up, got a nice blue spark on all 4 cylinders now. If you look close you'll see something else that's on today.

Just need to get a 1/2 gal fuel cell, mount the fogger's in the intake boot's, mount the fuel pump and nos tank then alittle wiring.

    Then it's Ka-Boom time.

How nice, now you can cook a nice meal at the side of the track!

I wonder how you will mount that tank. Maybe your track won't care if its outside the frame rails.

I'm going to mount the tank on it's side right in front of the battery. This way I can remove it easy. The lectrons don't take up much space.

I would like to see a picture when you get it done. I thought you mounted the MSD just above the battery.

Are you planning to have to take the seat off to refill?

Here's where it's going. I'll be able to slide it out or fill it while it's still in there. Easy access to the knob too.

The msd is still above the battery, you can see it hanging from the fuel hose in the bottom pic. The only thing I might need is a FBG battery??

Wasn't even close to what I was thinking. It looks like a good place for it.

Jake - Did you make a special mounting bracket for the coils or did you use the stock mounts? Mine were a tight fit on the stock brackets and I noticed that it might be possible for the terminals to short against the metal sleeve spacer that makes up part of the mounting post.

I saw that too. I cut off the front coil tabs on the frame since they would hit the coils if I's used the outer most holes. I just used some 1/2" wide aluminum, bent it to fit and used two self tapping screws to mount it to the frame.

You can see it somewhat in the first pic.. So far so good.

You could just used some flat steel too and go straight ahead with it and mount it on some of the frame tubing thats near the neck too.

I was really surprised that Dyna positioned the primary wire attachment screws in the same plane as the mounting post. I would have thought it would make more sense to put the screws at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. I wrapped the spacer with electrical tape but thought that I'd replace the spacer with something made of nylon at some point.

                          Nice fix Jake BTW.
