Hey Ryan has does your airshifter work being mounted that far back on the lever. Mine is about 2" from the shaft, got me thinking about moving it??1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88

I remebered the Studs but forgot about the head Bolts and never even considered the carb boots.
They have a way straighter intake right?

The intake is bigger. I would suggest a solid top bolt like the ape head bolts. I was using an open top bolt and have to put silicone into the top of the bolt or I get oil down the studs.
The only problem I've ever had with the shifter was when the shift shaft was binding up on that bearing support cover it passes thru. I ended up putting a bearing in the cover. Remember Jake the secret is to look good from a distance. A close inspection will reveal many flaws.
We got almost 8 inches of lake effect snow today. I guess it's time to start day dreaming about racing instead of going racing.

Damm, I need to polish my valve cover! I like the looks of it so much more.
With the Busa now close to running what the GS does, is the plan to retire the GS?

The gs is too consistent compared to the streetbike. Also since we are going to boxes next year I need to leave off the button. I would be tempted to make a dragbike out of the busa. That would be the *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$. Something like this zx-11. Its basically a street bike that he made into a dragbike. Stock frame that was raked by macintosh. Has a macintosh swingarm and bars on it. One size up piston with stock head and cams. Lockup clutch with a 7" slick. He runs 9.60's. I've seen him go as fast as 9.40's. Self starting, self charging, full size gas tank. He can basically just go in circles. I on the other hand have to gas, charge the battery, and put air in the system every time.

For me half the fun is racing and the other is tinkering with the bike. I'd get bored if I didn't have anything to do between rounds.1166cc 1/8 ET 6.09@111.88
