isleoman i ran the loom across to the right side and it is not pinching. there are two slots in the frame, i left it in the left slot then past the center of the triple tree and up the right side. you will have to prolly weld a couple blocks on the lower triple for steering stops. here is a pic of my stops.

Hey Duke, I like the headers in red. Never would've thought of it, but it looks pretty good.
Your forks are from a Gixxer, right? Why did you have to go with a 954RR triple set? Something about the bearings? I just got a set of the 2003 GSXR750 forks from Ebay, and it included the triples. I was very much hoping to keep them.
BTW, I don't see why the hi-temp paint wouldn't hold up if the exhaust manufacturers use it in black on their pipes. Just my 2 cents.

the 954 triples will give you another half inch of clearence. that is the only reason they are used. listen to katmans advice he is the guru of my project and he knows his stuff.

Thanks Duke, I've noticed that Katman is very knowledgable for crossreferencing parts.
Katman, can I reduce the rake & trail on the steering tube? I'm doing a bunch of cutting & welding on the frame, anyway, so that's just another thing to add to the list. I'd be rigging it to be straight & true, of course. It's not really any different that rigging an aircraft for symetry. Just a smaller scale. I don't know, would that still be too little clearance? Would the header be a problem? Maybe I can use a 16" wheel. Help, as always, is very much appreciated.

Hey Duke...looks good man. Did you use the same paint on the wheels
and bucket? From these pictures the color all seems to be the same tint.
I also like the red headers.....thinking of doing mine in blue now.
Cool...very cool!!
