    gs1000e brake upgrade

are there any 2 or 4 pot calipers that will bolt on to the stock 78 gs1000e forks? thanx

Performance Machine can sell you front calipers that have 2, 4, 6 or 8 pistons that will bolt to your stock fork legs using their adapter plates. Not inexpensive, but consistent in price for this quality of product.

I have searched and researched this very same question all week.
Everyone will tell you what parts they "think" will work. Some folks will even tell you what parts will work...but no pictures for proof. Either it's a big secret, or it dosen't work.

I just bought some 4 piston calipers. As soon they get here, I will post pictures of what works and what won't. If mods are required, I'll post pics of those too.

Whatever I end up using, I'll let you know so we can put this one to bed once and for all.

I for one, am sick of lousy breaks.

The master cyl I have is from a 1997 750 Katana.
          (that's the easy part)
