    pro pipe woes

I just installed my V&H pro pipe on the '82 gs1100ez .Sounds good, looks good,
and rips ass.The only problem is I had to remove the rear brake lever to make it fit. This sucks.Anybody run into this ?

Take a good look at your brake lever. I had to cut slices in mine and weld them shut after bending the brake lever to work properly. Later model over the peg brake levers may work alos.

I think I figured it out.I took the peg mount and turned it upside down. Now just some grinding and welding to make it fold up instead of down.It raises the peg an inch or so,giving enough room for the lever. At first I thought I might have felt the height difference from the other side ,but it's not even an issue....thanks guys......m
