4 into 2 on a gs110g?

Just a quick question for a friend. I've found V+H and Mac 4 into 1 exhausts for his gs1100g, but I haven't seen any 4 into 2 aftermarket exhauts for it, and he'd like to keep the 4 into 2 setup.

I'm assuming this is because noone offers one, or have I simply missed them?

I know that Mac makes a 4 into 2 because when I replaced my exhaust I purchased a set. I then swapped them it for a 4 into 1 V&H header and then sold the 4 into 2 to cover some of the cost.

Now I'm getting really confused. The 4 into 2 is listed for the gs1100g. But it also specifices chain drive models, and the G is a shaftie.

I have a 80 1100E model and bought a 4 into 2 set from Mac. I am sure that they make exhaust for both the G (Shaft) and E (Chain) bikes.

they do...sort of. They list an exhaust for both. But on the G, it specifically says "for chain drive models only".

Anyone got a chain drive G they want to sell? I found the exhaust, now I just need the bike. :-D

In the end, the 4 into 1 will be easier and cheaper.
